Pineapple crush

I’m obsessed, as always having to find balance in what I eat, but pineapple has proven to be so helpful in so many ways.

Bromelain found in pineapples work to neutralize fluids to ensure that they are not too acidic. It also helps regulate the secretions in the pancreas to aid in digestion. Apart from that, since bromelain has protein-digesting properties, it can keep the digestive track healthy.”

I eat it chopped in pieces or as a fresh juice, either way, it’s tasty and healthy. The only thing I notice on the negative side, is that it tend to cause a bit of a itchy rash on my face around the mouth. Maybe it’s too sweet :)
