Lately it’s been more of a #DOTD  – dogfit of the day rather than outfit of the day. This morning I had a meeting in Valletta and I did my best to look as decent and clean as possible, because since we had Massimo it’s been a bit of a challenge to be honest. I managed quite well but once I got back home I changed back to a more relaxed outfit and took Massimo for a walk. I kept thinking how do I always end up as dirty as him? Why are my shoes and pants always in a complete mess, not to mention my hands?! He’s just a puppy, we’re walking on normal roads, not mud baths, but somehow, each time, I end up dirty. Well, the conclusion is simply this: puppies are dirty. Full stop. He keeps eating things he shouldn’t eat so I stick my whole arm up his mouth to get it out, the leash gets tangled in trees and other dogs and sometimes he’s just excited and decides to jump on me. Luckily for him he’s the sweetest thing and all it takes is a quick rinse and he’s as good as new!

I have also toned down my OCD, I now feel ok with dirt on my hands, or on the floor, or on the sofa, or in the bathroom……as long as Massimo is happy all is good!

Ps. It may sound as if I have absolutely no control over him or a clue what I’m doing but that is not the case, 80% of the time he walks like a grown dog next to me :) I grew up with this breed, but I forgot about the puppy stage :)
