Pomegranate & Raspberry Reed Diffuser - Diffusers

Diffusers and scented candles are my favourite details in a home, I try all sorts and scents but with these 2 above, Zara Home and The Body Shop, I have to say I choose the ones from Zara Home. They cost about the same but first of all I prefer the design of the Zara Home diffuser, it smells more (not in a negative way hehe)  and it lasts a lot longer.

I think it was a mistake to buy the raspberry scented…(The Body Shop), a room shouldn’t really smell too sweet, it’s more ‘attractive’ to fill the room with a more ‘earthy’ scent as for example Dark Amber or the one I tried last; Black Vanilla (does not smell sweet as vanilla)

Lily Flame candles

Last Saturday I spent too much time in one shop going through all the different scents of the Lily Flame candles. I really need to stop obsessing with smells and scents of all kind. You know, sometimes I even get stuck at the supermarket smelling fabric softeners haha…I just told you too much didn’t I 😉

But anyway, these are OK to smell and adore because they are really cute and they all have different themes and names. Maybe pick the Christmas one for now?

Little Luxuries

In Sliema there is this very charming little shop where you go in and realise there is not one single thing you wouldn’t want to buy. It’s annoying :) I don’t think it’s the items alone making the shop so nice, it’s the whole feel to it. The shelves and how they are decorated, the owner, the skylight…something very appealing. I think it reminds me a little of when I was still living in Sweden (yes..ages ago) and I used to work in a shop, much bigger, but there was this homey feeling and like this one, Little Luxuries, it smells of beautiful scented candles. I wish I could live in one of those shops 😉
